Demand
Unusually for the Lowcountry, Edisto still has real vacant-lot inventory, from sub-acre lots to ten-plus acre parcels, even as the land trust keeps adding protected acres, including a defeated housing site that became part of Botany Bay preserve in 2025. Much of the island is old family land held for generations, and inherited parcels with title questions are common and workable.
